Not Every Machine Leaves in Red: A Custom Blue TC-200 Heads to Mexico

Oct.20.2026

Laizhou Tuoxing Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Tuoxing) has completed the inspection, packing and container loading of a custom-built TC-200 diesel scooptram for a mining customer in Mexico. Finished in the buyer’s specified blue, the machine left the company’s plant in Laizhou, Shandong, in a single container together with its spare parts package.

The shipment illustrates how a made-to-order machine actually moves: the colour is agreed, the specification is fixed, the unit is checked on the hardstand, driven into the container and secured — and the parts that will keep it running arrive in the same container rather than on a later flight.

The Colour Is Part of the Order

Most machines leaving Tuoxing’s plant are red. This one is not. The TC-200 loaded at Laizhou was finished in blue to the customer’s specification — a reminder that “custom” in heavy equipment is rarely confined to what sits under the hood.

In mining, paint is not decoration. Buyers specify a colour to match an existing fleet, to comply with a site’s own identification and safety conventions, to keep a contractor’s equipment visually consistent, or simply to make a machine easier to spot and account for underground. Getting it right at the factory means the unit enters service on arrival instead of diverting to a paint shop first.

Beneath the paint the specification is untouched: the same DEUTZ air-cooled diesel, the same DANA torque converter and power-shift transmission, the same Tuoxing-built planetary axles and welded frame. Custom paint, same proven performance — which is how the loading team described it while the container was being packed.

One Container, Machine and Spares Together

This order was not split across two schedules. The machine, its bucket and the spare parts package travelled in the same container — an arrangement that matters rather more than a packing list suggests.

When the doors are opened at the destination, the parts are already on site. There is no air-freight consignment to chase before commissioning, no waiting on a wear item before the first shift, and no gap between the machine going to work and its first planned service.

Documentation travels the same way, in Spanish: the operation and maintenance manual, and a spare parts manual with part numbers, so a workshop can order by number instead of describing a component over the phone. That is usually the difference between a machine that starts earning within weeks and one that waits on a part.

Why a 2 m³ Loader Suits Mexican Underground Mines

Mexico is the world’s largest producer of silver and a significant producer of gold, copper, zinc and lead, with Sonora and Zacatecas accounting for the majority of national output. Much of that production comes from underground operations — narrow veins, older workings and headings where the constraint is less about tonnes per hour than about whether the machine fits.

A 2 m³ bucket, a four-tonne tramming capacity and an overall width of 1,840 mm put the TC-200 in the bracket that suits those workings. Its 42° articulation gives an inner turning radius of 4,255 mm, so it can work a switchback that a larger loader would have to reverse through, and its height of 1,960 mm keeps it under a low roof.

None of that is specific to Mexico. What is specific is the combination buyers there tend to ask for: a compact machine, a mechanical drivetrain that a local workshop can service without laptop diagnostics, and documentation in a language the fitters actually read.

Support That Travels With the Machine

A machine leaving Laizhou takes more than an engine and a bucket with it. Tuoxing’s export orders travel with:

• Spare parts — a parts package shipped with the machine, so that wear items and critical components are on hand from the first shift rather than ordered after the first failure.

• Documentation and training — operation, maintenance and spare parts manuals in Spanish for this order, with operator training arranged around delivery.

• Pre-delivery testing — hydraulic systems flushed and filled to NAS 7–8 cleanliness, and a full-load test before shipment, with the test record delivered alongside the unit.

• Lifetime technical support — engineers remain reachable for the life of the machine, not only for the duration of a warranty period.

For the buyer, that is the substance behind a colour change. The blue paint is what the machine looks like; the parts, the manuals and the response time are what decide how often it works.

About Tuoxing Heavy Machinery

Laizhou Tuoxing Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Tuoxing Heavy Machinery) was established in 2007 in Laizhou, Shandong, China, and builds on more than 30 years of experience in underground mining equipment. The company manufactures underground trackless equipment — scooptrams (LHDs) from 0.5 m³ to 6.0 m³ bucket capacity and underground dump trucks from 6 to 40 tonnes payload — at a 25,000 m² facility where cutting, welding, machining, assembly and testing are all carried out in house.

Tuoxing is certified to ISO 9001 and China Mine Safety (KA), and was recognised as a “Specialized and New” SME by Shandong Province in 2025. Its machines are at work in gold, copper, iron and polymetallic mines across Peru, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Mexico and more than 30 countries and regions, supported by a 48-hour on-site response commitment, genuine spare parts and lifetime technical support.
