Tuoxing TC-100 Arrives in Peru: A Trusted Partnership Delivers Underground

Mar.17.2026

From "Made in China" to the Peruvian Underground: Tuoxing TC-100 LHD Earns On-Site Praise from Client

The moment the final bolt was tightened and the roar of the test run echoed through the underground tunnels, the project manager for the Peruvian mining company remarked: "It started working right out of the crate." This was his assessment of the newly assembled Tuoxing TC-100 underground Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) machine.

This 1-cubic-meter LHD represents the company's first-ever purchase of brand-new equipment from a Chinese manufacturer. Three months earlier, when the Tuoxing sales team first visited this mine—located deep within the Andes Mountains—the client's attitude was one of caution; having previously relied exclusively on European and American brands, they harbored doubts regarding "Made in China" products.

Trust began with an urgent service response. Early this year, a sudden breakdown of one of the client's older machines brought operations to a halt. Within 48 hours, Tuoxing’s Peruvian partner coordinated for technical engineers—equipped with the necessary spare parts—to arrive at the mine site and assist with emergency repairs. This experience led the client to make a decisive choice: "Let's give Chinese equipment a chance."

Customization: Not Just a Slogan, but a Promise Written in Blueprints

After the contract was signed, Tuoxing did not rush to schedule production. Instead, the technical team spent a full week meticulously studying the tunnel blueprints and operational records provided by the client:

To accommodate the mine site's 2.2-meter-wide haulage tunnels, the TC-100's chassis was designed with ample safety clearance.

Based on the mine's continuous underground ramps with a 15% gradient, the traction-to-power ratio was re-calibrated to ensure optimal performance.

The entire operator interface was localized into Spanish, and all warning labels were designed to comply with Peruvian mining safety regulations.

On the day the equipment arrived at the mine site, Tuoxing service engineers had already arrived in Lima ahead of schedule to join the client's team for the unboxing and acceptance inspection. "From Shanghai to the mine site, we arrived 24 hours ahead of the equipment," the service engineer noted. "That way, if the client had any questions or issues, we were right there on-site to address them."

Underground Field Testing: Letting the Data Speak for Itself

Once assembly was complete, the TC-100 was immediately deployed underground to undergo production testing. After completing a full shift, the operator offered this assessment:

"The steering is light, the bucket fills well, and visibility is better than what we used before." He specifically highlighted the bucket's fill rate—measured at over 2 tons per scoop—which actually exceeded the machine's rated capacity.

As he signed the acceptance report, the client's Purchasing Director remarked: "Tuoxing didn't just sell us a machine; they gave us a solution. We are already discussing the next order."

Choosing Tuoxing means choosing a long-term commitment. From mine surveying to equipment delivery, and from operator training to spare parts support, we stand side-by-side with our clients every step of the way.
